Liz Hall is fifteen. She's
looking forward to getting her license, enjoying helping her best friend
plan for the prom, and anticipating a long, full life. Her sudden death
in a hit-and-run accident puts an end to her life on earth, and Elsewhere
is where Liz ends up. Here, Liz will age backward from the day of her
death until she becomes a baby again and returns to Earth. Liz, however,
wants to turn sixteen, not fourteen again, and now that she's dead, Liz is
being forced to live a life she doesn't want with a grandmother she only just
